Can Cobey include packaged-skid wiring to IEC code?
Yes, in fact Cobey has supplied many packaged skids and panels in compliance with various world-wide electrical standards, such as IEC, CSA, and SAA. Wiring methods include cable, cable glands and cable tray of various materials and colors as required by customer specifications. Cobey has the know-how and resources to complete your project to your specification, no matter where the installation.
Can Cobey provide paint to my specifications?
Yes, Cobey has provided packaged-equipment painting to a wide range of customer specifications and colors. We have both in-house and sub-contracted painting facilities that allow us to handle your project coating needs.
Does Cobey have ASME certified welders and weld procedures?
Yes, all piping fabrication is performed by ASME certified welders using qualified procedures. Weld procedures and procedure qualification records are routinely submitted to customers for record, and welder qualifications are available for review upon request in our facilities.
Can Cobey provide PMI (Positive Material Identification) and other NDE (Non-Destructive Examination)?
Yes, PMI is provided by in-house inspectors using the Thermo-Niton XL800 X-Ray Fluorescence Analyzer. All NDE procedures, operator qualifications, and instrument calibration records are available upon request. PMI scope varies depending on the customer requirements. COBEY has provided extensive PMI records and material traceability, including deposited weld metal. Other available NDE methods include: Ultrasonic (UT), Magnetic Particle (MT), Radiography (RT), Dye-Penetrant (PT), among others.
Can Cobey comply with country of origin requirements for piping, fittings, valves, etc.?
Yes, we have furnished materials sourced from specified regions on several projects.
