Available immediately at Cobey Energy, Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) storage vessels manufactured as per ASME Section VIII, Div. 2 standards. Available in single vessel configurations, commonly referred to as “spheres”, are engineered and manufactured at Cobey Energy in Buffalo, NY.
CNG storage is utilized as a key filling station component to meet peak fueling demands through the storage of gas at pressures up to 5,000 psig, an equivalent capacity of 96 GGE (12,000 scf). These vessels are commonly found in Fast Fill, Buffer Fill and Time Fill CNG filling station configurations. CNG spheres are ideal for sites with space constraints and a need for incremental growth of existing on-site storage.
On April 17, 2014 The National Board of Boiler & Pressure Vessel Inspectors issued Cobey Inc. with the ASME U2 stamp. Possession of this stamp allows Cobey Energy to build ASME Div. 2 pressure vessels for high pressure CNG storage for onsite, above ground storage at CNG filling stations throughout North America.
