We have been closely monitoring the ongoing developments regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and are actively taking steps to ensure the safety of Cobey’s employees, their families, our customers, suppliers, and our local community. We have increased cleaning in our facility, cancelled travel, cancelled meetings, and restricted access to our facility. We are also transitioning a number of employees to work remotely to reduce density within our office. Despite this situation, we understand the importance of meeting commitments to our customers and will do our best to keep you informed as additional developments occur.
What this means for you –
To do our part in stopping the spread of COVID-19, Cobey’s facility is operating with limited onsite personnel. Many Cobey employees will work remotely to ensure our business continues to operate smoothly with minimal impact to our customers. This policy is in effect indefinitely as we monitor updates from the CDC and our local government and adhere to their recommendations. So please understand that our personnel may be offsite and may need additional time to get responses from our production facility. Also, we will be leveraging video conferencing to replace in-person meetings or inspections, as practical.
At this time, you should not expect to see any negative repercussions on orders you currently have in-house at Cobey or orders you are planning to send in the coming weeks. We have proactively contacted our critical supply partners to confirm that there should be no changes in our ability to provide the highest quality products to meet your expectations. Cobey employees are prepared to be responsive to emails and phone calls as usual thanks to our information technology resources.
What we ask of you –
Should this email have reached you and should have been directed to someone else in your organization, please send us their contact information so additional correspondence lands in the correct inbox.
Patience. With every State and County press conference, there are additional requirements on our families and our business. We are doing everything we can to keep business as usual, but it is anything but. Our extraordinary team is committed to putting in long hours to make this new reality successful for all involved, but it is a new endeavor for us.
We will continue to strive to meet or beat your expectations and we will continue to monitor the situation and communicate with you if there are updates or events that may impact our services.
Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by this serious disease.
Sincerely,
Michael F. Durkin
