CADD Designer
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Create 3-D models of packaged piping systems from schematics and bill of materials.
  • Provide design information (3-D models) to drafters for customer & fabrication drawings.
  • Check drawings created by others.
  • Liaison between manufacturing, engineering and Design departments.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficiency in Solidworks CADD program.
  • Knowledge of piping & structural design.
  • General knowledge of instrumentation & rotating equipment (pumps & compressors).
  • General knowledge of heat exchangers and filtration equipment.
Credentials and Experience:
  • AAS in Mechanical Technology
  • 3-4 years related experience or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Requirements:
  • Willing to work in team concepts. Minimal domestic and international travel for technical meetings at client’s facilities.

CADD Drafter
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Create / revise detailed drawings from 3-D models for production.
  • Liaison between manufacturing, engineering and CADD departments.
  • Some 3-D modeling.
  • Minimum 1-3 years experience in piping and structural steel.
  • Run plots or copies of drawings, maintain drawing log books.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Skill to use a personal computer.
  • Proficiency in Solidworks CADD program.
  • Must have good communication skills to communicate with the team and clients.
  • General knowledge of custom fabricated industrial equipment.
  • Knowledge of piping & structural steel design.
Credentials and Experience:
  • 3-5 years related experience or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
